Having opened Harborne Chiropractic Clinic with my wife eight years ago we have grown to be one of the largest chiropractic clinics in the country. I believe part of our success has arisen from wanting to do the very best for our patients.

Over the years I would occasionally encounter a problem (usually chronic tendinopathies) that just wouldn’t respond to any form of treatment. These treatment modalities would have included massage, Graston, dry needling, rehabilitation. You name it I tried it. I would have to refer these patients for corticosteroids or even surgery.

In my quest for alternatives I came across Shockwave Therapy which has a sound evidence base for its effectiveness.

Since utilising Shockwave Therapy I have helped countless people that I had previously been unable to help. I continue to be astounded by its effectiveness for a range of conditions. If you have a chronic tendinopathy or muscular injury that you just can’t shift shockwave therapy can be the best option for you.

After graduating from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic I developed a particular interest in the management of chronic pain conditions.

During my time in practice I have seen a wide variety of patients with numerous different conditions, and have developed an appreciation of how differently people respond to treatment.

Bringing Shockwave Therapy to the clinic has made a huge difference in the success rate of dealing with those stubborn musculoskeletal injuries. In particular I love treating Plantar Fasciitis now.

It is such a great feeling being able to help people that have often tried numerous different treatments without success and to see the benefit that Shockwave Therapy can make is great.
